Making a Satement
Not every Colorado couple wants to take photos in the mountains.
If you know the city is more your vibe, doing your engagement photos in one of your favorite bars can be not only unique, but also sentimental.
Using your engagement session to highlight your favorite places really adds layers to your love story,
Drew and Maddie knew one word for what they wanted from their photos. Hot. They wanted these babies to be spicy! (Just like them!)
SO that is exactly how we played it
These two are SUPER comfortable with one another, which makes for epic moments.
The more you can forget about me, and melt into one another, the better your images are going to turn out.
F*ck evereything else and just be yourselves! ✨ No better place to be than in the moment.
Mix it Up
We made a gallery with a lot of variation by utilizing different parts of the space, along with going back and forth between direct flash and the colorful ambient light.
Tips for the best bar or restaurant sessions:
Permission - we need to go into these kind of sessions knowing that you will be in someone’s place of business so getting the “OK” is always great. Some places love having you come in early so that way we can make sure that you are able to move around without being in the way of servers or patrons. If you want/need the session to be later in the day, I will make sure that the establishment is cool with it. (Places like Union Station need less prep)
After we get there - Make sure to buy the goods! Buying a few drinks is a great way to show these awesome people how much we appreciate their help😍 (This also goes for anywhere else like, record stores, coffee shops, ice cream joints, etc.)
Get Tipsy! - Hey, you know those drinks we just bought? Do yourself a favor and use it for any last minute nerves (unless you are just a badass who has no fear haha)
Trust Me - I got you! You are gonna look great!
